Hello and Welcome! We have developed a new type of chicken coop you don’t have to lock up at night or unlock in the morning! The chickens put themselves up and let themselves out at dawn creating very independent chickens and allowing you to go on vacation! This coop requires very minimal cleaning up of chicken manure because there is no floor allowing all the droppings to fall onto the ground and you just move the coop every couple days or so. I know what your thinking "What if predators crawl underneath the coop!?" Well with this coop there are two layers of poultry netting, one down low to prevent predators from getting in and one up high to catch any chickens that may have fallen. I had terrible racoon problems then I developed this style coop and it eliminated all my nighttime predator issues, I went from struggling to maintain 200 chickens to easily managing over 400 with less than an hour of work a day! You probably don't want that many chickens and I definitely understand! The standard size can fit about 8-10 chickens depending on their size, for example this coop could probably fit 15 bantam chickens. With this coop there is No relying on electric equipment, batteries or gears which can freeze or fail and trap your birds in or out of the coop! This coop uses No electricity but is designed to be able to hang a heat lamp inside for the coldest nights. This coop is ideal for backyard, free range, paddock shift systems, or small farms and we can easily produce a larger version for a medium sized enterprise
